SWRCB PROPOSITION 13 GRANT:

SANTA CLARA ARUNDO REMOVAL PLAN (SCARP)

The VCRCD has taken the lead to prepare programmatic environmental documentation (CEQA/NEPA) and a long-term implementation plan in order to perform giant reed (Arundo donax) and salt cedar (Tamarix spp.) removal in the riparian corridors of the upper Santa Clara River Watershed.  This project is funded by the State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) Proposition 13 Grant.  Many agencies and organizations are collaborating on this exciting new venture.  If you would like to collaborate on this project, please contact Noreen Cabanting
